What Club Book is
Club Book helps a group decide together which book to read: suggestions, voting, a draw or a bracket, and a shelf that keeps the club's history.
Club Book is free today. If that changes, we will give notice in advance, and you will never be charged without choosing to pay.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account or with a magic link sent to your email. Your name comes from that sign-in, so keeping that access secure is up to you.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Club Book.
What you post
What you write and suggest remains yours. By posting in a club, you give us permission to show that content inside the product, to that club's members — and, if the club is public, to anyone who visits its page.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is illegal, that isn't yours, or that serves to offend, threaten or expose another person.
Fair use of the service
Use Club Book to organise real reading clubs. Don't try to overload the service, work around limits, reach clubs you don't belong to, or harvest other people's data automatically.
Club administrators can remove and block members of their own club. That decision belongs to the club, not to us.
When we can remove something
We may remove content or close an account that breaks these terms, especially where other people are at risk. Whenever it is possible and reasonable, we warn first and explain why.
No warranties
Club Book is offered as is, with no guarantee that it will always be available or free of faults. It is an independent project, maintained by one person.
Features may change, and the service may go offline. If that is going to happen for good, we will give notice in advance and provide a way for you to take your club's history with you.
Changes to these terms
If anything meaningful changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Club Book after that means you accept the new version.
